Each year, one student is nominated from the senior class of each Georgia high school to be the STAR Student. This recognition from the
Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) is based on criteria that include standardized test scores and overall GPA. The STAR Student then chooses her STAR Teacher, an honor which has been given to UL Science teacher LaRita Williams for the Galloway School!
